Paid Internship Program for Immigrant Professionals
We are currently seeking candidates for our paid internship opportunities designed specifically for skilled immigrants looking to enhance their professional experience. These internships provide a valuable platform to develop industry-specific skills, expand professional networks, and gain practical experience in a supportive environment. Ideal candidates are motivated individuals eager to contribute their expertise and grow within a dynamic organization.
This program offers a 16-week full-time paid placement at minimum wage, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position upon successful completion, based on performance.
The program includes two weeks of pre-employment training, along with intensive Business English classes prior to the start of the placement.
Eligibility requirements:
- Must be under 30 years old (applicants may be 30+, but must begin the program before turning 31)
- Must hold Permanent Residency or Refugee Status
- Must have been unemployed or underemployed for at least 6 months
- Applicants must have previous work experience in their country of origin related to their field of study or professional background
