The Sales Associate at TriSon Farms will ensure efficient order processing, accurate data management, and seamless communication with customers and supply chain partners. Title: Sales Associate
- Support and collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless operations and a high level of customer service
- Manage and grow assigned customer accounts, serving as a primary point of contact and ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention
- Drive new business development by identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new customers
- Conduct cold calling and outbound sales outreach to generate leads, build a strong pipeline, and support revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers
- Process daily orders and ensure accurate, timely data entry within internal systems
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to provide pricing, sales confirmations, and shipment tracking information
- Prepare and submit monthly expense reports for Key Account Managers
- Analyze sales data and prepare presentations for customer meetings and internal reviews
- Maintain and update customer profiles, including contract pricing, product SKUs, and onboarding documentation
- Assist Key Account Managers with reporting, trade show preparation, and customer-related initiatives
- Provide support to the sales team during account managers’ absence, including handling customer inquiries and sales activities
- Ensure adherence to food safety, food security, and regulatory requirements, and communicate standards to partners and growers
- Perform additional administrative and operational duties as required
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in administration, business, or a related field
- 2+ years’ experience in sales or customer service
- Experience in produce industry preferred
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Self-motivation with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Possesses a solutions-based attitude, curious and has an analytical perspective
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Wage is based on experience
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
