The Animal Emergency Clinic of Durham Region is adding to our Client Care Receptionist/Vet Assistant team. We’re looking for someone with a great sense of humour, enjoys ER life and shift work. All successful candidates will be cross-trained. Work along a supportive team in a fast-paced ER environment. ER and/or GP experience is an asset.
A Few attributes and qualifications are;
- Caring for our patients; Ensuring they are walked and feed and their housing is clean and comfortable
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent customer service skills; creating a welcoming environment for pets and pet parents
- General housekeeping duties; varies areas around the clinic ensuring a clean environment
Part-time employees can access the pet medical discount program, employee assistance program, and health benefits meeting the eligibility requirements. ACAs and CCRs are cross trained to move within the hospital.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
