Overview
Our clinic, currently in a phase of rapid growth, enjoys a prime location between two longstanding family medicine offices in the heart of Lonsdale. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves working closely with clients to assess their needs and deliver tailored massage therapies that promote relaxation, healing, and overall well-being. Residents of the north shore are preferred.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Conduct client consultations to understand their specific concerns and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Document client sessions accurately and maintain confidentiality of all client information.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate wellness practices.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and practice productivity.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming and relaxing experience for clients.
- Effective communication skills for understanding client needs and explaining treatment procedures clearly.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse clients and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards and accurate documentation of treatments.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is preferred, along with current licensure or certification as required by local regulations. Pay: $39.42-$100.29 per hour
