Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Senior Project Manager in this role should have with a proven track record in enterprise Salesforce implementations to lead our clients eCRM transformation and collaborate on building a sustainable, long-term Salesforce governance structure. While the core focus of this role is the end-to-end delivery of our critical eCRM project, we require a candidate with program-level expertise. Working in close partnership with the Delivery Manager and the Salesforce Managing Director, you will help design, set up, and roll out a robust governance framework that will eventually scale to encompass our broader Salesforce program.
Responsibilities
- 1. eCRM Project Execution & End-to-End Delivery

Tactical Execution: Take full accountability for the end-to-end planning, execution, and launch of the high-priority eCRM project.

Schedule & Financial Health: Manage project budgets, detailed schedules, resource allocation, and dependencies. Act as the primary escalation point for delivery friction and risks.

Executive Reporting: Lead the drafting and aggregation of executive-level progress reports, status decks, and presentations for the Project Leadership Team (PLT) and Steering Committees.

2. Governance Co-Design & Setup

Strategic Governance Collaboration: Partner directly with the Delivery Manager and Salesforce Managing Director to audit current processes, identify delivery gaps, and co-design a scalable Salesforce governance framework.

Framework Rollout: Establish foundational governance mechanisms that can be applied to future Salesforce projects across the program.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Align business stakeholders, IT, and partners around standard delivery practices, environment release cycles, and transparent risk management.
Qualifications & Background
-
Salesforce Track Record: 10+ years of IT project/program management experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations (e.g., Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud, eCRM).

Governance & Program Expertise: Demonstrated experience building, refining, or establishing project/program governance frameworks from the ground up in complex enterprise environments.

Banking Sector Experience: Experience delivering eCRM, customer journey, or digital transformation initiatives within Banking or Financial Services environments.

Leadership & Mindset: Highly driven, proactive, and execution-oriented. Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, foster collaboration between business and technical teams, and hold external vendors accountable.
Experience Years & Domain Knowledge

10+ years of progressive IT Project/Program Management experience driving complex, enterprise-scale software initiatives.

6+ years dedicated to delivering complex Salesforce implementations (e.g., Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or retail eCRM).

Proven track record building or significantly refining project/program governance frameworks from the ground up in large enterprise environments.

Banking / Financial Services Sector Experience: Solid background navigating banking complexities, customer data structures, financial compliance standards, and multi-channel retail environments.
Technical & Functional Skills

Salesforce Execution Mastery: Deep hands-on understanding of Salesforce implementation lifecycles, environment strategy, sandbox management, and release train coordination.

Governance & Process Design: Ability to define intake criteria, stage-gate reviews, escalation pathways, and decision-making matrices.

Vendor & Cross-Functional Management: Direct experience driving internal engineering teams, external consulting partners, and business stakeholders toward hard deadlines under unified KPIs.

Consultative Stakeholder Facilitation: Exceptional executive presence and communication skills to partner directly with Managing Directors, Delivery Leads, and business executives to navigate change management.
Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
Certifications (Highly Preferred / Required)

PMP (Project Management Professional) or PfMP / PgMP – Required / Highly Preferred

PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe Agilist – Strong Advantage

Work Location
Remote, preference for Alberta-based candidates but open to anywhere in Canada
