Job Overview
We are looking to hire shop mechanics. Red seal Heavy Equipment Technician are responsible for the safe troubleshooting and repair of various types of heavy equipment. We have a large fleet of equipment. Wiggle Wagons, Dozers, Graders, Excavators, packers, winch and picker trucks and a fleet of 16 tractor-trailer dump box units.
This job is for a shop position, but, mechanics must be prepared to work outside at times.
Duties
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment such as Caterpillar machinery, farm machinery, and forklifts
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently
- Assemble and disassemble machinery components as needed
- Conduct heavy lifting and use hand tools to complete repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic working with heavy equipment
- Ability to maintain and repair various types of heavy equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $145,000.00-$156,000.00 per year

Experience:
- mechanical: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
- Journeyman (preferred)
