Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Cabinetry Installer to join our dynamic installation team. In this role, you will support senior installers in executing a variety of installation projects across residential and commercial settings.
Duties
- Assist with the setup and preparation of job sites, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are ready for installation tasks
- Support senior installers in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials according to blueprints, schematics, or project specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as caulking, carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting
- Help with the installation of various components including cabinetry, fixtures, flooring, and other building elements
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure accurate execution
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cabinetry installation or finish carpentry is required; willingness to learn is essential
- Applicants must possess a valid drivers license.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience with hand tools and basic construction practices
- Knowledge of construction processes such as carpentry, blueprint reading, caulking, restoration, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings to guide installation work
- Ability to work safely with power tools and hand tools while following safety protocols
- Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working on various job sites
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
