Senior Insurance Advisor – Personal Lines

AMC Insurance Brokers is hiring an experienced Senior Insurance Advisor – Personal Lines to support clients across the Lower Mainland. This role is ideal for a licensed insurance professional with strong product knowledge, proven sales ability, and a client-first approach.
As a Senior Insurance Advisor, you will help clients understand their coverage options, recommend suitable personal insurance solutions, and build long-term relationships based on trust and service. You will also work with a collaborative team that values professionalism, accuracy, and continued growth.

Key Responsibilities - In this role, you will:
- Develop and apply sales strategies to convert leads into long-term clients
- Provide personalized personal lines insurance options and accurate quotes
- Review existing policies and recommend coverage improvements
- Explain coverage, limits, deductibles, and policy changes clearly to clients
- Handle client inquiries related to billing, claims, renewals, and endorsements
- Maintain accurate and current client records in internal systems
- Build strong client relationships through timely follow-up and professional service
- Collaborate with team members to support branch goals and daily operations
- Stay current on insurance products, underwriting updates, and market changes
- Support a high standard of service, accuracy, and professionalism
Required Qualifications - To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Level 2 British Columbia General Insurance License
- Minimum 2 years of Personal Lines Insurance experience
- Strong knowledge of personal insurance products and coverage options
- Proven sales, negotiation, and client relationship skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work in person at one of our Lower Mainland offices
Preferred Qualifications - The following are considered assets:
- Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation
- Chartered Insurance Professional designation
- Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional designation
- Canadian Risk Management designation
- Experience using insurance management systems and marketing platforms
- Experience mentoring junior advisors or supporting team development
