Full-Time Bottle Sorter / Relief Driver

Winterburn Bottle Depot is looking for a dependable, hardworking Full-Time Bottle Sorter who has experience driving a 16-foot cube van and can provide driver coverage when needed.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Full-time, permanent
Wage:
- Bottle Sorter: $16.00/hour
- Driver: Starting at $19.00/hour, depending on experience.
This position is primarily a bottle sorting role. Employees will be paid the bottle sorter wage while working in the depot and the driver wage while covering routes. Driving position is very physicall and operates in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and process recyclable beverage containers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide friendly customer service.
- Cover driver routes as needed due to illness, vacation, or other absences.
- Safely operate a 16-foot cube van.
- Load and unload bags, boxes, and pallets of beverage containers.
Qualifications:
- Experience driving a 16-foot cube van or larger.
- 3 years consecutive insurance
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs) and working on your feet throughout the day.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required.
