Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team and assist in the daily operations of our bakery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and baking activities
- Package bakery items for display and sale
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Follow food safety standards and guidelines
- Help with cake decorating as needed
- Provide friendly customer service to bakery patrons
Skills
- Experience in cooking or food preparation is preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to bake various bakery items
- Proficiency in cake decorating techniques is a plus
- Previous experience in the food industry is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.80-$18.00 per hour
