Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team. We are doing almost exclusively fast food renovations, all over Alberta, Sask, and BC. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and fast food settings. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical infrastructure across various projects. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Install wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and low voltage systems in commercial buildings.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks according to code standards.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems during renovation or construction projects to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues using schematics and commercial electrician experience.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams confidently.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, power tools, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Construction or renovation experience preferred; handyman skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
