Job Title: Production and Cold Storage Warehouse Operative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Production Labourer to support daily operations in our raw pet food production facility. This role involves assisting with the preparation and processing of raw pet food products, maintaining inventory in walk-in freezers, and ensuring all equipment and work areas are properly cleaned and sanitized after production.
Experience working in a meat processing plant or butcher shop preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and production of raw pet food products
- Organize and manage inventory in walk-in freezers
- Load, move, and store materials and finished products
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas after use
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Support the production team with general labour tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a meat processing or food production environment preferred
- Ability to work in cold environments (walk-in freezers)
- Physically able to lift and move heavy items and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organization
- Reliable and able to work well as part of a team
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
