Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing projects
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, assemble, and install piping and fixtures
- Support the setup of plumbing components according to specifications and schematics
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on plumbing equipment and systems
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills such as welding, carpentry, HVAC basics, and system troubleshooting
- Assist with the assembly of plumbing parts and components as directed by senior team members
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with an interest in plumbing systems and construction trades
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations
- Understanding of schematics related to plumbing or HVAC systems is a plus
- Experience or knowledge in carpentry or welding is beneficial but not required
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
