Flotec Plumbing & Heating Inc. is seeking an experienced, motivated plumber to join our growing team. We are looking for a skilled professional who can independently handle service calls, lead small projects, mentor apprentices, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial plumbing independently
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Complete plumbing installations, renovations, and service work in both residential and commercial environments
- Perform maintenance and repairs on water distribution, drainage, venting, fixtures, pumps, water heaters, and related plumbing systems
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and building plans
- Manage and coordinate apprentices and junior plumbers on site
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, property managers, and commercial clients
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations
- Maintain accurate job notes, material lists, and service reports
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and site coordination when required
Qualifications
- Licensed Plumber (306A preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of plumbing experience
- Strong residential and commercial plumbing experience, including service, maintenance, renovations, and new construction
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, materials, and installation practices
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues independently
- Experience leading apprentices or small crews
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
