Fix Auto Exploits Valley has an immediate opening for an Auto Body Prepper to join our expanding team here in Grand Falls-Windsor.
If you are a detail-oriented and are looking to grow your career in the collision repair industry, then this could be your ticket to a great career. As an Auto Body Prepper, you will be responsible for prepping various makes and models of vehicle for bodywork and paint.
We are looking for an Auto Body Prepper that is willing to be trained and demonstrates the ability to learn.
A day in the Life of an Auto-Body Prepper at Fix Auto Exploits Valley
- Read, understand and follow work orders.
- Inspection of projects prior to refinishing to ensure all prep and repair work is complete.
- Apply masking to bumpers, windows and trim for primer preparation.
- Clean and smooth surfaces before the application of primer and paint
- Detailing of paint work such as unmasking, inspection, touch ups, buffing and minor reassembly
- Execute minor body work.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS
- Some experience working in an automotive field/collision repair (preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to work both as an individual and as part of a team
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
- Strong work ethic and hustle
- Positive attitude
- Able to manage time wisely and complete jobs efficiently and inside of deadlines without compromising quality.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
