Futurescape Landscaping is seeking a motivated and experienced Truck and Coach Technician (310T) to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of commercial trucks, heavy equipment, trailers, and winter maintenance equipment used in landscaping, hardscaping, and commercial snow removal operations.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism. This role requires strong diagnostic abilities, preventative maintenance experience, and the ability to respond efficiently to equipment breakdowns and operational demands throughout all seasons.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy trucks, trailers, and related equipment in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, snow removal equipment, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel engine issues.
- Complete MTO safety inspections, certifications, and required documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure all repairs comply with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems to track repairs, inspections, service intervals, and maintenance history.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and after-hours service calls during winter operations as required.
- Communicate repair priorities, equipment conditions, and downtime concerns with management and operations staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Support continuous improvement of maintenance procedures, shop organization, and fleet reliability.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Ontario Truck and Coach Technician (310T) License.
- Candidates with extensive heavy equipment experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and emissions systems.
- Experience with snow removal and construction-related equipment is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Basic computer literacy would be required
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work extended hours or on-call schedule during winter operations when required.
Pay: $26.00-$45.00 per hour

- Greater Sudbury, ON P3G 1M4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Truck and Coach Mechanic: 1 year (preferred)
