Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Person (Seasonal) to support our landscaping, gardening, and maintenance operations. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for outdoor work, horticulture, and project-related tasks. The position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in landscape maintenance, irrigation, and equipment operation while contributing to the beautification and upkeep of various outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to assist with landscaping projects
- Perform irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper water distribution
- Assist with gardening tasks including planting, pruning, mulching, and lawn care
- Support landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, edging, and debris removal
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for various projects
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic equipment repairs as needed
- Assist with general site cleanup, material handling, and project setup
- Support team members in executing outdoor projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with excavators, irrigation systems, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools and power tools is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles and landscape design is a plus
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available for seasonal work during peak landscaping periods
