Next Up Origin Athletics is looking for energetic, reliable, and outgoing individuals to join our community outreach team.
This position involves going door-to-door in local neighbourhoods, handing out flyers, and helping promote our youth basketball and soccer programs throughout Edmonton.
We are also welcoming applicants interested in volunteering with youth sports programs, camps, and community events.
This is a great opportunity for students, athletes, future coaches, or anyone looking to gain experience working in sports and the community.
Responsibilities
- Distribute flyers in assigned neighbourhoods
- Speak with families and answer basic program questions
- Promote upcoming camps, leagues, and youth sports programs
- Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner
- Assist with community events when needed
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods
- Passion for sports and youth development is an asset
- Basketball or soccer experience is a bonus but not required
