As a member of our Culinary team, you possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, along with a keen eye for detail to help ensure all food items coming out of thekitchen are of the highest quality and prepared in a timely and efficient manner
Key Responsibilities:
● Preparing food items according to recipes and quality standards.
● Regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and fryers.
● Preparing, maintaining and monitoring quality control for hot and cold food items includingbut not limited to: meat, fish, poultry, and made-from-scratch sauces, pizza dough, andbreads.
● Maintaining consistency with portions, plating, and garnishes.
● Maintaining accurate food and temp logs
● Communicating food quality or shortage issues with the Head Chef.
● Helping to maintain constant cleanliness and proper sanitary condition of all food storageand kitchen areas, including the line, dish area, and prep kitchens.
● Practicing correct food handling and food shortage procedures according to food safehandling procedures.
● Visually inspecting all food items on the line and kitchen to prior and post service.● Completing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar capacity and volume
- Food Safe certification required.
- High school diploma / G.E.D. equivalent.
- Fluent English language skills; both written and verbal.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs withoutassistance.
- Frequent bending, standing, walking, and stair climbing for extended periods of time asrequired
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced workenvironment.
- Banquet and Hotel kitchen experience is an asset.
- Must be familiar with Western Cuisine.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the business needs of a hotel environment,including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Legal Work Status: Must already possess necessary documentation to work legally inCanada.

Experience:
● Cooking: 3 years (required)
● Hotel Culinary: 2 years (preferred)Licence/Certification:
● Food Safe, Food Handler or equivalent (required)
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
