Our Hamilton location focuses on delivering personalized swimming lessons to our valued clients, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. We are hiring our our Fall 2026 session beginning in September.
Position Overview: We are seeking certified and enthusiastic swim instructors to join our Hamilton team. As a swim instructor, you'll be responsible for conducting swimming lessons, assessing swimmers' abilities, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere for individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct swimming lessons at our Hamilton location, ensuring personalized instruction for each swimmer.
- Assess swimmers' abilities and tailor lesson plans to individual needs.
- Instruct and demonstrate proper swimming techniques and safety skills.
- Maintain a supportive and encouraging environment for swimmers' growth and progress.
- Track and communicate swimmers' advancements to their families.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students of all ages and skill levels.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during lessons.
- Keep excellent communication with supervisors.
Requirements:
- Current Combined Swim and Lifesaving Instructor certifications
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C
- Current National Lifeguard certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years, or more, teaching swimming lessons.
- Previous work with diverse age groups, from children to adults.
- Previous work with individuals who have varying abilities or special needs.
- Additional certifications in water safety or coaching.
