Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized, creative, and ambitious Marketing & Brand Growth Coordinator Coordinator to help elevate our company image, strengthen our online presence, and execute projects that help take Soobz to the next level.
This is not a traditional corporate marketing role. We are looking for someone who is proactive, tech-savvy, creative, and excited to grow with a rapidly scaling company.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Marketing Activations:
- Assist and/or oversee the creation of marketing materials and content specific to target segments (e.g., brochures, presentations, email campaigns, social media, etc.).
- Assist and/or ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
- Assist and/or measure and report on the performance of campaigns, events, and activations, adjusting strategies to optimize results.
- Contribute to the communication strategy and develop content for our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
Website Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and updates of our company's websites, ensuring they are current, functional, and user-friendly.
- Collaborate in keeping our websites updated and create content for the new campaigns
- Add new content, update existing pages, and implement refreshes to promote seasonal products.
- Create banners for email acquisition, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
- Stay informed about competitors and make recommendations to improve the user experience.
- Ensure website responsiveness and performance across various screen sizes and devices.
Event Management:
- Assist and/or lead the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of industry trade shows, conferences, and customer-facing events.
- Assist and/or coordinate logistics, budget, creative assets, and communication for events to ensure impactful brand presence.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Assist in developing and managing the marketing budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources for events, campaigns, and activations.
- Track expenses and provide regular updates to ensure cost-effective management.
Other responsibilities:
- Write compelling and persuasive copy for website pages, product descriptions, promotional banners, email campaigns, and other marketing materials in English and French.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and branding across all copywriting efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Has 1–2 years of relevant experience in a marketing or product coordination role (internships included)
- Is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Demonstrates strong communication skills and teamwork
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Has good written and spoken English (essential for supplier communication)
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
- Knowledge of the following tools is a plus: Microsoft Suite, Canva, Adobe Acrobate, Photoshop and InDesign.
