Job Title: Bar Security (Part Time)

Position Overview:
We are looking for reliable, professional, and personable Bar Security Staff to join our team. As part of the security team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests, performers, and staff. You’ll maintain a visible presence, de-escalate situations when necessary, and help foster a positive environment where live music can be enjoyed safely.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide a welcoming presence at the door.
- Check IDs to ensure legal entry.
- Monitor the venue to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
- De-escalate conflicts and intervene when necessary in a calm, professional manner.
- Work closely with bartenders, management, and staff to maintain venue safety.
- Escort individuals off premises when necessary, always with respect and professionalism.
- Assist in emergency situations (e.g., first aid, evacuations, crowd control).
- Promote venue policies in a fair and consistent way.
Qualifications:
- Prior security experience preferred (but not required).
- Valid security license/certification. (Preferred)
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and handle occasional physical intervention.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all guests.
