Applications are invited for the position of Part-Time Professor – Hairstyling, within the School of Trades. This position will commence September 2026. This position will also require in-person teaching at our Welland campus.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, this exciting role requires the successful candidate to provide an invitational and effective learning environment for students that includes the design, delivery and evaluation of the Hairstyling curriculum.

Certificate of Qualification – Hairstylist 332A

Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience in a salon environment

Active member of Skilled Trades Ontario

Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, problem solving, analytical and teamwork skills

Evidence of commitment to student success and academic excellence

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications; experience with Blackboard and People Soft are definite assets

A minimum of one (1) year post secondary teaching experience

Experience in curriculum design and evaluation
