Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide mental health support and therapy to diverse patient populations, including children and adolescents. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices, and contributing to ongoing research initiatives. Experience in hospital settings, pediatrics, and special education is highly valued. The Psychotherapist will play a vital role in promoting mental well-being and supporting patients through their treatment journeys.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to patients' needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Work closely with children and adolescents, addressing developmental and psychological challenges.
- Manage case documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and data collection for research purposes.
- Utilize medical terminology accurately within clinical documentation and communication.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care strategies.
- Assist in patient care activities related to hospital experience when applicable.
- Support patients with special needs or those requiring case management services.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training related to pediatrics, special education, or other relevant fields.

- Strong experience working with children and adolescents in clinical settings.
- Knowledge of hospital procedures and patient care protocols.
- Familiarity with research methodologies and data collection techniques.
- Understanding of pediatric mental health issues and developmental disorders.

Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
