We are seeking an additional 310T truck focused mechanic to work in our busy truck shop for the afternoon shift Tuesday-Thursday 10:30am-7:30pm or 11am-8pm (seasonally dependent), Friday 10-7pm and Saturday 8am-5pm. This candidate will inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair diesel and gas heavy trucks/vans. Duties include performing regular maintenance, light & heavy repair, recall work, tire changes and repairs, Safety Inspections, diesel repair, diagnostics, and oil changes.
The mechanic will liase with the service advisors to determine the customer's vehicle needs based on inspection and diagnostic testing. Determining the required repairs, quoting out parts and labour to complete the repairs, and repairing vehicles are the main responsibilities.
This position's shift is Tuesday - Thursday 10:30-7:30, Friday 10am-7pm, and Saturdays 8am-5pm. Days off will be Sunday/Monday.
