About the Role
Alberta Spur Hauling is hiring Hotshot Drivers to operate F-550 trucks with gooseneck trailers for urgent deliveries across Alberta. We haul containers, oil & gas equipment, construction materials, agriculture freight, and general cargo.

What You’ll Do
- Safely haul loads throughout Alberta
- Load, secure, and deliver equipment and materials
- Complete trip logs, photos, and paperwork
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections + basic maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch and customers
Requirements
- Class 5 or higher
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Towing/load securement experience
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service
Assets: Oilfield tickets (H2S, First Aid), hotshot experience, knowledge of Hours of Service & NSC compliance
Safety & Compliance
- Full NSC safety program
- HOS compliance required
- CVIP standard equipment
- PPE and safe-work procedures mandatory
Pay & Schedule
- Competitive wage + after-hours premiums
- 90-day probation
- On-call rotation with variable hours (days/nights/weekends)
