Document Control Specialist for a full-time opportunity in

In this position, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations within the Document Control and Scanning departments. You will sort, prepare, scan, and review documents while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with established procedures. You will also assist with service requests, quality assurance activities, and provide feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Perform daily document control activities including sorting, preparing, scanning, and quality assurance of incoming documents

Handle service request submissions received from internal departments
-
Sort and process incoming mail in an efficient and organized manner
-
Prepare documents for scanning by identifying document types and ensuring proper organization
-
Scan prepared documents while maintaining productivity and quality standards
-
Perform quality assurance checks to ensure the correct documents are processed for each job
-
Identify processing errors and provide feedback to Leads and Supervisors
-
Follow established procedures related to document control, scanning, and risk management
-
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when handling sensitive information
-
Adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancement opportunities
-
Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental objectives
Qualifications
-
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
-
1+ years of experience in inbound mail processing, return mail processing, or a similar document control environment preferred

Experience handling service requests and escalations is considered an asset

Working knowledge of document control procedures and best practices

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Excellent organizational and analytical skills

Ability to identify issues and recommend process improvements

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and workflows
