Overview
Must have a class one licence!! We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across various routes. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards. Candidates should possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport commodities to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload commodities as needed
- Assist with the operation of equipment during loading or unloading processes
- Perform basic repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to maintain vehicle functionality
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports in accordance with company policies
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Must have Class 1 driving experience and grain /sand hauling experience. And must live between Edmonton and Lethbridge area
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with freight or logistics companies
- Knowledge of heavy equipment handling is highly desirable
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance is a plus
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience operating super b trailers is highly advantages
- Ability to navigate routes efficiently while adhering to safety regulations and deadlines
- Must be a early starter to have a good week trucks got be moving on time.

Pay: $20.49-$36.11 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 70 per week
