Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable LCV Team Truck Driver to join our logistics team at DAY&ROSS for a broker . This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in freight handling, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair, ensuring smooth delivery operations and vehicle maintenance.
Duties
- Safely operate light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to transport freight to various locations according to schedule
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of trucks, including minor automotive repairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during transportation and loading activities
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle records, and documentation of freight movement
- Assist with the securement of freight to prevent damage during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers
- Brampton to Moncton 2 trips per week
- Pin to pin , Hook&drop
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- 5 years of AZ DRIVING EXPERIENCE Mandatory
- Experience operating heavy equipment, and commercial trucks
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in freight transportation or logistics preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $6,000.00-$8,000.00 per month
