The Avenir Centre Team is looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals to join us for the Jonas Brothers with Arkells concert at Croix-Bleue Medavie Stadium in Moncton.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the region's premier live entertainment events. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service, and being part of a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.
Successful candidates may also be considered for future casual opportunities at concerts, sporting events, and special events operated by the Avenir Centre.
Responsibilities
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with all liquor regulations and venue policies.
- Deliver outstanding customer service in a high-volume event environment.
- Process cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately.
- Verify guest identification and practice responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations.
- Restock beverages, supplies, and products as required.
- Assist with event setup and teardown.
- Follow all Food & Beverage operational procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid New Brunswick Responsible Beverage Service Certificate (mandatory).
- Previous bartending, beverage service, hospitality, or customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable handling payment transactions accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol in New Brunswick.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy event environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and moving supplies and equipment.
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude under pressure.
