HVAC & Home Services Sales Representative — Calgary, AB
Full-Time | Commission + Base Salary | Immediate Start
The Opportunity
We are a growing Calgary-based mechanical contracting company looking for a driven, personable Sales Representative to join our team. This is a relationship-first sales role with uncapped earning potential. If you love people, love closing deals, and want to be rewarded directly for your effort — this is the role for you.
What You Will Be Selling
You will represent a full range of residential and light commercial products and services:
- High-efficiency furnaces and heating systems
- Central air conditioning systems
- Traditional and tankless hot water tanks
- Garage heaters
- EV car charger installations
- Plumbing services and fixture installations
- Electrical services
- HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance and service plans
- Duct cleaning services
- New construction mechanical packages
Your Responsibilities
- Generate and follow up on leads through calls, referrals, site visits, and community outreach
- Conduct in-home and on-site consultations to understand customer needs and recommend the right solution
- Build lasting relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, and property managers
- Prepare and present accurate quotes in a timely manner
- Coordinate with our installation team for smooth project handoffs
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Track your leads and pipeline and report to management regularly
What We Are Looking For
- Proven sales experience — HVAC, home services, construction, or any field where you built real relationships and closed deals
- A people person — you build trust quickly and communicate clearly
- Self-motivated and results-driven — you do not need to be micromanaged
- Ability to explain technical products in plain language homeowners understand
- Professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Valid Alberta driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle
- Strong organizational skills to manage an active pipeline of leads
Bonus points if you have:
- Existing relationships with Calgary builders, contractors, or developers
- Experience with CRM or sales tracking tools
- Knowledge of residential construction or the home improvement industry
Compensation
- Base salary (discussed at interview) — a foundation, not a ceiling
- Attractive commission on every job sold

- Mileage reimbursement for client visits
