Position Overview
As an Automotive Service Technician at Mr. Lube + Tires, you will be responsible for performing a variety of preventative maintenance services, tire-related work, and minor repairs on customer vehicles. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and other preventative maintenance services.
- Conduct tire inspections, repairs, rotations, balancing, and installations.
- Diagnose and report vehicle issues to customers in a clear, professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining recommended services and answering questions.
- Operate equipment and tools safely while following all workplace safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Assist with inventory control, shop cleanliness, and general upkeep.
- Stay up to date with industry standards, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (automotive training or certification is an asset).
- Previous experience in automotive service, tire installation, or mechanical repair preferred.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and reaching.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.25-$24.85 per hour
