We are looking for a Bunkhouse Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and providing direction to the housekeeping team, as well as managing all aspects of the facility on a day-to-day basis. The Manager will ensure that housekeeping and client-service standards are met in accordance to Northstar’s policies and procedures. The position requires that the Manager be accessible to all staff and members of Head Office and be ready to respond to a variety of different situations.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of housekeeping and leadership experience
- Must be able to move continuously (push, pull, stretch, walk, bend) during work hours and able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, that may require shift rotation.
- Effective decision making and conflict management skills.
- Be able to interact effectively with all levels of management, staff, and clients
- Criminal background check is conducted and paid by the employer as a condition of employment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for projecting and maintaining staffing levels as required
- Recruit, hire, and train new and existing staff
- Supervise and direct staff according to company policies and procedures
- Create and manage the work schedules
- Ensure all Safe Operating Procedures for Housekeeping are followed and adhered to
- Prepare and submit orders to maintain an appropriate level of housekeeping supplies
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and conduct
- Perform housekeeping duties on a daily basis
- Report any safety concerns/hazards immediately to the Health and Safety Manager
- Ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment and make arrangements for equipment to be serviced and/or repaired, if necessary
