About the Role
Best Brains Learning Center is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic instructor to work with students in a small-group classroom setting. The role focuses on introducing students to technology and problem-solving through a structured curriculum. All instructional materials and classroom resources are provided.
Responsibilities
- Lead small-group lessons for children ages 7–14.
- Guide students through the provided activities and projects.
- Encourage participation and build students' confidence in learning.
- Monitor student progress and communicate with the Centre Director when needed.
- Complete required orientation and classroom observation.
- Maintain a positive, organized, and supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree.
- Experience working with children in an educational, tutoring, mentoring, or camp setting is an asset.
- Familiarity with computer programming or related technology concepts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ontario teaching certification or enrollment in a teacher education program is considered an asset but is not required.
Schedule
- Thursday: 5:30 PM – 7:40 PM
- Friday: 5:30 PM – 7:40 PM
