Inspired to bring a well-rounded and boutique-style approach to martial arts training and fitness, Element Martial Arts was built on an ethos to serve its community with a first-class facility. With 3 dojos, 15 heavy bags, an MMA cage simulator, weights and apparatus, full martial arts equipment, and a spectator area, our 5500 sq ft studio runs 7 days a week. Our studio trains hundreds of students each week and is the largest standalone studio in Western Canada. We are proud to have trained the most National and World Champions west of Ontario.
Element is set apart with its accomplished training staff specializing in eight disciplines. Our instructors engage students with a combination of traditional martial arts instruction and innovative training approaches. Our goal is to make martial arts training accessible for everyone regardless of ability, financial position, age, gender, or fitness level. We have created programs so all students can set goals and confidently explore any discipline of martial arts at the pace and with the training approach that works for them. Our studio offers training in the following disciplines:
- Shotokan Karate
- Muay Thai
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
- Kickboxing
- Boxing
- MMA
- Street Self Defence
- Tae Kwon Do
Students seeking to enhance their training can also choose private lessons or personal training to reach their goals. Element Martial Arts has a training structure for those wishing to progress through belt ranks and compete at local, national, and international levels and those wishing to become trainers and build a career in martial arts.
The Element studio philosophy centers around strength and empowerment, confidence, community, whole health, and mindfulness achieved through martial arts. We are able to apply these principles to reach goals, from fitness to international championship level competing.
