Responsibilities
- Measure clients accurately to determine tailoring needs and ensure proper fit

- Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to complete tailoring tasks
- Consult with customers to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on fabric choices and styles
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients throughout the tailoring process
Requirements
- Basic math skills for taking measurements, calculating fabric needs, and adjusting patterns
- Previous experience in tailoring, sewing, or garment alterations a must.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise alterations and high-quality finishes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to understand and meet client expectations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent craftsmanship
- Knowledge of different fabrics, sewing techniques, and garment construction is a plus
