Barmath Group is currently seeking motivated, reliable, and safety-focused Asbestos Abatement Workers to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to workplace safety.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, residential, restoration, and environmental remediation projects throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Perform asbestos abatement, containment setup, demolition support, cleaning, and related labour tasks.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and site-specific requirements.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and abatement equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
Requirements
- Previous asbestos abatement, demolition, restoration, construction, or general labour experience is preferred.
- Valid asbestos certification and fit test respiratory is an asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation is considered an asset.
