We currently have an opportunity available for a Part-Time GEM RN in our Emergency Department. This position supports older adults with comprehensive care in our Emergency Department.
Position: GEM Registered Nurse

Status: Part-Time (0.3FTE)
Schedule: Days- Flexible Hours
Hourly Rate: $41.15 – $58.98 (effective April 1, 2026)

Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (BScN), Bachelor Nursing or Diploma in Nursing
- Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum 3-5 years acute- hospital experience, preference given to experience in the Emergency Department and Geriatrics
- Current BCLS certification
- Current GPA
- Additional training or experience in Gerontology is required, and/or suitable candidate commits to complete education plan for specialized Geriatric training including GNCC.
- Computer competency (Meditech/EPIC and order entry)
- Ability to assume leadership/supervisory and adhere to our values of Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, and therapeutic communication and skills
- Proven ability in independent and collaborative decision making, strong clinical knowledge of geriatric care
- Critical analysis, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Desire to mentor and support ED RN team to deliver senior friendly care
