Green Valley Mechanical is a small company with a passion for HVAC. We take on projects that range from residential installs to speciality controls across the province. While most of our work is in the lower mainland, we are proud to service several sites across the province that offer exceptional learning experiences for any technician, no matter the level.
The company is owned and operated by a Red Seal, Journeyman with over 10 years experience in the industry. We have a large database of customers and are looking for a qualified and fitting technician to add to the family!
Qualifications:
- 3rd or 4th year HVAC apprentice, or HVAC & Refrigeration knowledge and working towards certification
- Physically capable of lifting equipment, climbing ladders, etc.
- Ability to work professionally and be a team player
- Class 5 Driver’s License & clean driving record
- Ability to take initiative and comfortable troubleshooting issues
- Self-motivated, able to mange time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Installation, ducting and/ or electrical experience is required
- Experience working with building specifications and drawings is an asset
Specific Skills:
- Ability to measure, cut and connect piping (using welding and brazing equipment)
- Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
- Start up system and test for leaks
- Recharge systems with refrigerant
Responsibilities:
- Installation (residential, commercial), maintenance, repairs of heating and air conditioning systems
- Working with team members on large scale commercial projects
- Representing the company in a professional manner when coordinating projects with customers
- Other duties as operationally required
