Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment around the job site
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary supplies or safety barriers
- Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools, holding materials, or performing basic tasks as directed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Perform general site cleanup to ensure a tidy and hazard-free workspace
- Operate basic machinery or equipment under supervision, such as forklifts or power tools when qualified
- Contribute to the overall progress of projects by completing assigned manual tasks efficiently and accurately
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Prior experience in construction, landscaping, manufacturing, or related fields is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to adhere strictly to safety guidelines
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in manual labor roles is advantageous
- Must be reliable with dependable attendance and punctuality
