Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Canine Wellness & Mobility Instructor, specializing in Doga yoga, to join our team. This role involves guiding dog owners and their pets through specialized yoga sessions that promote canine health, mobility, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a love for animals, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients and their furry companions. Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele. Duties
- Lead engaging Doga yoga classes tailored to enhance canine flexibility, strength, and relaxation.
- Educate dog owners on proper techniques to support their pet’s mobility and wellness through yoga practices.
- Develop customized session plans based on individual dog needs and owner goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence among clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the yoga space for both dogs and owners.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions, offering guidance, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Manage class schedules efficiently, ensuring timely start and end of sessions.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in canine health, wellness, and yoga techniques to continually improve instruction quality.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching Doga yoga or personalized dog wellness classes for at least 1-2 years
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide groups confidently and effectively.
- Exceptional time management skills to balance class schedules and client needs.
- Passion for animals, particularly dogs, with a genuine interest in promoting their health through innovative methods.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor in a customer-focused environment.
