Looking for a eager and qualified individual for a seasonal position as head of housekeeping. This role is hands on but less so than a standard housekeeping position. This position involves organizing cleaning operations, communicating and training housekeeping staff, setting expectations and ensuring they are met.
Lumina Resort is right on beautiful Lake of Bays and we provide all meals free of charge for your time on site.
Job Description
Duties:
- Duties include but are not limited to: cleaning guest rooms/cottages, cleaning resort public areas and facilities, washing laundry. Supervising and overseeing other staff in our housekeeping department. Creating orders and maintaining stock of required supplies. Our staff should be comfortable with greeting guests and responding to their requests, while ensuring their security and privacy.
- Skills/Qualifications:
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Hardworking, reliable & on time
- Able to take direction, follow company rules and policy
- Must be physically fit; able to walk, bend and lift for extended periods
- Can lift at least 20 kgs
- The applicant must be able to work well independently and with others

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.50-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
