Permanent | Full Time : Day Shift (7am – 3pm)
Compensation : $45/hr
What You Will Do:
As a Licensed Millwright, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- Work safely while adhering to all Federal, Provincial, local, company, union, environmental, quality, and health & safety regulations.
- Support operational objectives by improving equipment reliability, manufacturing productivity, product quality, and cost efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and maintenance processes.
- Troubleshoot production and quality issues alongside operations personnel.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Complete maintenance documentation including work orders, parts requisitions, inventory transactions, and quality documentation.
- Take ownership of maintenance activities and complete repairs within established timelines.
- Perform welding, machining, fabrication, and rigging as required.
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment including cranes, jacks, and tractors during equipment installation and repairs.
- Inspect machinery to identify equipment irregularities, failures, and maintenance requirements.
- Assemble and install machinery using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal quality standards.
- Report unsafe conditions or behaviours immediately.
- Participate in ongoing safety and technical training.
- Coordinate preventive and scheduled maintenance activities with supervisors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations.
What We Are Looking For:
- Valid Ontario Industrial Millwright Certificate (433A)
- 3–5 years of industrial Millwright experience
- Strong welding, fabrication, and rigging skills
- Solid troubleshooting experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience operating general machine shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Pay: $45.00 per hour
