About the Opportunity
Fall River Logging is growing! We are currently looking to hire a Lead Hoe Operator for work located in Port Alberni area.
Your tasks include, but are not limited to:
· Operating assigned equipment as required
· Performing daily maintenance of assigned equipment (including checking engine oil, fuel, etc.)
· Following strict safety protocols and best practices
· Attending safety trainings and site meetings
· Exhibiting excellent communication skills while working with the grapple yarding team
· Completing daily time cards and updating logs as required.
Qualification Required
· A valid Class 5 Driver's License
· At least 3 years of Lead Hoe Experience.
· Experience in steep slope and coastal logging terrain.
· High level of safety understanding and commitment
· Level 1 First-Aid or be willing to get it in the future.
