Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality control
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and leadership to maintain high performance
- Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate food service activities, including serving guests and managing timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with safety standards
- Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
- Collaborate with management on menu development and special event planning
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience preferred, with strong team management skills. not a requirement
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Strong understanding of the food industry and hospitality standards
- Exceptional communication skills for effective serving and customer interaction
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
