The Role
Based on our continued growth and success, we are seeking a new member to join our Administration team as an Bookkeeper/Office Administrator. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, detail-oriented, self-driven, passionate individual who is able to operate in a dynamic team environment.
In this vital role, you will manage the company’s financial records, oversee day-to-day administrative tasks, and ensure smooth office operations. Your expertise in accounting software and bookkeeping will help maintain accurate financial data, support budgeting processes, and facilitate efficient accounts management.

As the company continues to grow, we are looking for someone who wants to hone their skills in accounting and office administration, while developing and expanding their skills from an operations and finance perspective.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online Advanced.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to verify financial accuracy.
- Prepare and process payroll using appropriate payroll systems, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Manage and process Canadian, United States, and other international sales tax and VAT obligations.
- Purchase order processing and administration.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and assisting with financial reporting.
- Handle general office duties including filing, correspondence, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Work extensively with the Microsoft suite of products, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Online Advanced accounting software. A certification in QuickBooks Online Advanced would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, and depreciation.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with group benefits and registered retirement platforms.
- Strong knowledge and competency in Microsoft Excel and Teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- An exceptional level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Ability to perform account analysis and support budgeting efforts effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
- Prior experience in an office administration or bookkeeping role is preferred.
Special Requirments
All shortlisted candidates will be required to successfully complete a background check that may include a criminal records check, financial check, identify verification, employment verification, and/or education verification.
Role Specifics & Compensation
This will be a full-time role, working Monday to Friday. Occasional overtime may be required, including weekends.
We offer a competitive compensation package which, after a successful 3-months probationary period, will include enrolment in our group benefits plan and group investment program.
Salary will be based on a 40-hour week and paid twice a month.
Vacation entitlement will include two-weeks in each year of service worked.
