Albert's Gas Station Maintenance Inc. (AGSM) is a Cambridge-based company specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fuel systems and petroleum equipment across Ontario. We serve gas stations, commercial fueling facilities, municipalities, and industrial customers, helping keep critical infrastructure operating safely and reliably.
We're looking for a motivated, hands-on individual who wants to build a long-term career in a skilled trade. No petroleum industry experience is required—we will train the right candidate.
Position Summary
As a Petroleum Technician Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians assisting with the maintenance, repair, inspection, and installation of fuel system equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who is interested in developing technical skills and working toward future industry certifications.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of fuel system equipment
- Learn to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Support preventative maintenance programs and equipment upgrades
- Complete service reports and required documentation
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles
- Travel to customer locations throughout Southern Ontario
- Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures
- Provide professional customer service at job sites
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with tools, equipment, automotive, construction, maintenance, or trades work is an asset
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work
- Good communication and customer service skills
Assets (Not Required)
- Previous experience in automotive, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, construction, or related trades
- Field service or maintenance experience
- Existing TSSA certifications (PMH, PM1, PM2, or PM3)

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
