Job Overview
One of client is currently seeking an experienced CNC Milling Setup/Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with 3-axis CNC milling machines, programming and setting up jobs, and machining steel components to precise specifications.
Duties
- Set up and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs
- Machine steel components according to specifications and production schedules
- Perform first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues as needed
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements
Skills
- 3–5 years of CNC milling experience
- Experience setting up, operating, and programming 3-axis CNC milling machines
- Experience machining steel and other metals
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Proficient with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
