MPE is looking for an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our Water Resources Engineering Team. The successful candidate will take an important role in design and project management within MPE’s Water Resources team. The position requires a broad range of skills and experience in a wide variety of water resource projects. The position will be based in MPE’s Red Deer office.

Your Contribution:
Your main responsibilities

Management of projects, contract administration, construction management, and design engineering,

Coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists,

Prepare planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents,

Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties,
-
Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met.

Apply and promote health and safety rules and comply with Englobe's quality procedures.
Your Profile:
What makes you unique
-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Civil or Environmental Engineering,
-
Registration with APEGA as an Engineer (P.Eng.),
-
5 to 10 years of experience in engineering including design, management, construction supervision, and project management. Preferably for water resource related projects.

Experience completing hydrotechnical assessments and hydrology as well as use of hydraulic modeling software is desirable.

Self-motivated, with good leadership, project management and client management experience; and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
