One of our divisions, Avalon Ready Mix, is currently accepting applications for the following position in Makinsons:
STONE SLINGER OPERATOR
Avalon Ready Mix is currently looking for a seasonal full time Stone Slinger Operator for hire for this construction season. The successful candidate will be required to complete many daily tasks, including but not limited to:
- Safely Drive and deliver aggregate products to various jobsites.
- Safely Complete general maintenance and inspection of stone slinger truck.
- Safely ensure the cleaning of the stone slinger truck is completed on an ongoing basis
- Organization and writing of delivery slips for aggregate orders
Candidates must possess good social skills in dealing with daily customers and possess the ability to organize their daily activities in an efficient manner, under direction of their dispatcher. Possess knowledge (or ability to learn) the various products produced and distributed by the company. Valid Class 3 Driver’s License required.
